Nails Collected by One Family For Two Years and One Month I had been discouraged because my years of works with finger nails were not catching on even in my private exhibitions. But NOH Suntag’s family posted a message asking for my address so they could send me the finger nail clippings that their whole family had collected for two years and one month, and this encouraged me not to give up my work. The reason they could collect finger nail clippings for so long was because the family’s six year old daughter was really into it. He wrote, “ We would appreciate it very much if you could make one artwork with our family’s finger nails only, and send us a photo of that work,” because he wanted to show my work to his daughter. I told him I would do it and I kept that promise even though it took 3 years.
